The Femicide Ledger: Reporting for Duty Since 1991
In 1991, they silenced our leadership on this campus. For thirty-five years, that forced silence has been paid for in the blood of countless women. We are here to announce that the gap in leadership is closed. We are no longer debating our humanity; we are documenting your crimes.
I. The Indictment of Bodily Servitude
We refuse the sanitizing language of "policy" and "debate." What we are witnessing is Legalized Femicide—the state-sanctioned reduction of women to breed cows and biological assets. By enforcing pregnancy, the state has resurrected a system of bodily servitude, where women are stripped of personhood to serve as reproductive utilities for a theocratic machine.
II. Crimes Against Humanity: The Evidence
The denial of life-saving medical care and the forced continuation of pregnancy are not "state's rights"—they are crimes against humanity. International law is already catching up to the reality we live every day:
- Mellet v. Ireland (2016): The UN has ruled that forcing the continuation of a non-viable pregnancy is inhuman and degrading treatment.
- Beatriz v. El Salvador (2024): International courts have condemned absolute bans as violations of the fundamental right to life and integrity.
- The Biological Fraud: With 23 million miscarriages occurring annually (44 per minute globally), the ideology of "fetal personhood" is a scientific fraud used to justify the incarceration and surveillance of women.
III. The Racialized Body Count & Statistical Laundering
This system functions through statistical laundering—the intentional suppression of data to hide the bodies of its victims.
- The Targeted Killings: Black women are already 3 times more likely to die from pregnancy complications than white women. Total bans are projected to increase maternal mortality for Black women by a staggering 33%.
- The Strategic Absence of Measurement: By failing to track deaths caused by care denial, lawmakers and hospital officials hope to remain immune. We are here to tell you: What is not counted by the state will be recorded by us.
IV. Our Promise to the Architects of Atrocity
To the lawmakers, hospital boards, and campus administrators who believe they are protected by current statutes: Your immunity is temporary. Evidence persists. Regimes fall.
We are the second wave of the 1991 resistance. We are merging the memory of the women lost in the thirty-year silence with the digital precision of today’s witnesses. Every infection, every forced birth, and every woman driven to the brink is being entered into The Femicide Ledger.
You silenced us in 1991 to clear a path for this atrocity. We are back, we are loud, and we are coming for your legacy.
This is the Manifesto of the Unbowed. Reporting for duty since 1991.
